Options Pricing for European Delivery
Ok, so i read a mind-numbing amount of posts about European Delivery pricing. I think i have it straight but there is one thing i am not clear on. Are the prices for options when you do European Delivery the same as MSRP? Is the base price the only price you get a break on?

In a nutshell, yes. However, given the current economic climate, you may be able to work with your dealer to get below the European Delivery "Retail" price.
Edit: and, also you might be able to get them to move on some of the options, but I doubt it. They usually hold pretty tight to that line.

Under no circumstances should you negotiate from MSRP down, you should negotiate from invoice (wholesale) price up. That holds true even in the best economic conditions, and doubly so now.
See the most recent (including the January 2009 price increase) European Delivery wholesale price list here - including base price and options (yes, which are otherwise the same as standard USA delivery: ) http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=340630 Do not *repeat* do not pay European Delivery MSRP. Plenty of dealers out there willing to deal. |
