N55 JB4 Harness A vs B

What exactly is the difference between the A & B harnesses? from pictures all i can see is that the connector for the TMAP is different. I ask because im trying to find a used JB4 and seems like the 'A' harness JB4s are harder to find. If its just the connector then thats a super easy mod

Bump. I'm curious as well (better to bump an old thread than to start a new one).

Ok so basically there were some pin changes in the connections between the years of each car. The JB4 unit itself is the same but the harnesses are not interchangeable or "moddable" to fit a different year. You need to get the correct harness that matches your TMAP for everything to fit properly.

Funny enough, I have an A harness JB4 (used to have a 2011 135i, now have a 2013) and need to trade for a B, so if you find a good deal on a JB4 feel free to PM me for a swap haha

The Tmap sensor is different, and apparently so is the MAP sensor plug.

I have a harness A I just removed with FF (not pinned) and data cable that I will be putting up for sale soon..N55

Thanks for the info! Oddly enough, that is the same situation that I'm in.
