Yes, the front should fit a 19x10 no problem.
The rear will always be the same as the front on our car (having a larger rear wheel will promote understeer). In our racing class, we are limited to 285 wide tires which is what we run now. I doubt we will go any wider than a 10" tire all around. When we do the rear, all we will be doing is increasing the rear track but keeping the same width. Maybe in the future if we make monster power and rear traction becomes a major issue, we might up the tire size. |

So another update. The side skirts are completed and painted! Front end wide body prototype is now completed.
The front bumper is missing in the pics as I mentioned in previous posts that we already took it off and the mold is currently being made. So just took off the side skirts and fenders right now and we're gonna start on the mold beginning of next week. We're on schedule for the first units to be finished at the end of April. For those that have ordered will have their stuff shipped beginning of May. For those who are really interested in purchasing, get in on this pre-sale. The pricing on the first page is special sale pricing. The price will go up once this is in full production. |

I took a look at the ASR stuff. Looks like the bigger compressor/turbine wheel upgrade everyone is trying to do. I believe same thing if not similar to what rcracer_tx is waiting to get done. Been discussing it with rcracer_tx in PM. I actually have the same thing, but I have not installed it. The hardware side of things are very easy to do in this car. The biggest hurdle with turbo upgrades is fueling which is a giant project in itself which I don't have time to worry about at the moment. Direct injection is new technology which there is no upgrades for. Can't pick up a higher flow direct injection injector, it doesn't exist yet! That no fuel pump upgrades either.
If fueling system was not a problem, I would have already made myself a tubular manifold single turbo upgrade already and would be on my 2nd motor With the bigger wheel in stock turbo housings, I think realistically no more than 75-100 whp gain. I don't think that'll be enough to make rear traction a problem. I was thinking along the lines of 600-800 whp |

Same, it seems like you would have to order a new set of wheels just for the new increased width in the front and order another set to accommodate the rears. I'd rather just do it all at once.

As for the wheels, you can always sell your setup to another person I know it's not conventional, but it's functional and honestly everyone who sees it in person think it looks awesome this way. |

Looks good Fred. Btw, I don't think this is an unconventional approach at all. One of my other cars is a AMG C63, and AMG has done exactly the same thing by extending the front track only with a widebody kit to help with the balance of the car.

Well it's not unconventional to me as I will do whatever it takes to go faster. But fashion here is to have staggered big wheels in the rear even though doing that promotes understeer.

Are you refering to us?
If so car's good. We have a race this weekend as well as next weekend so it's a bit hectic around here lately. The production units for the front end wide body is done. I'll snap some pictures up as soon as I get a chance. |

Did you put your order already, when will you recevie it and what's your plan for the wheels & tire setup, because I want to order the wheels now but if i going to put the widebodt kit I should order 19" x 10 instead of 19" x 8 or 8.5. Any suggestion??

frankie, not sure what wheels yet. Has to be custom wheels. I looked into Rays but they don't make offsets more than +45. Shame.
Yeah I ordered mine ages ago. I think mine is the first of the production run so hopefully it is fine. Fred's been busy with his racing program and I have a major race coming up next week as well so the widebody isn't a big priority until after my race. We haven't worked out shipping yet either. And yes, Fred will ship to HK for sure as he is shipping mine to Australia. What I can't decide is whether to leave it raw dry carbon or paint it. |

I think the rear wide body will make the car looks much more aggressive. Please give me the Porche 911 Turbo look. Thanks.

Monica is currently working on getting the best sea freight pricing available so I should have a quote ready for you soon.
We're going to test fit WAY's widebody kit on our car to ensure fitment is great. Last thing we want to do is ship this thing halfway across the planet only to find out there's a problem. I should be able to do it next week. Stupid race this weekend stressing me out. I just remembered we broke a diverter valve (don't ask how >=T). Quote:

What size tire do you plan to run in the front? That would dictate what size rim to use.
Yes, we can ship to HK via sea freight (most cost effective way). |
