I would think the best fitment for a 1er would be 18x8 et45 fronts and 18x9 et50 rears. Ive seen alot of 8.5F 9.5R wheels that poke a little too much outside the fenders on our cars..

Some people prefer this look of being "flush" with the fenders. But yes the setup you mentioned will work no problem as well.

Here's a pic of a 20x9 F14 wheel I weighed today.
For comparison, here's the weight on a 20x8.5 One Piece Forged Monoblock, HRE P40. To put things in perspective, here's the weight on an 18x9.5 VMR VB3 (gravity cast). |
