Drl/angel Eyes

I have noticed that the angel eyes are brighter when the light switch is in position (0), opposed to positions auto or 1. Im only running super white H8 bulbs and they are 50% brighter on position 0. I was wondering if this happens with any of the angel eyes LED upgrades out there.

You can adjust the brightness via coding. There's 10 different settings. =)

edit: I haven't done it yet, just from what I've read/heard.

It rarely works with those 10 settings, you have to modify the voltages with hexadecimal editing, such a pia to do

Coding my angel eyes worked with LUX h8 V3's, may have been lucky though, may have been the bulbs, dunno but it worked.

It's also because Position 0 is DRL function. When in Auto and lights are on, or in Position 1 or 2, it dims it slightly as it's usually nighttime when the lights are on and the brightness is reduced so as to not be irritating to other drivers.

This guy knows his stuff. I also know my stuff. Hence me quoting his statement means I am behind his explanation.

Therefore case is closed.
