[Rebuilt Title] 1M Valencia Orange 50k mi
All options including Harmon Kardon speakers and idrive with BMW comfort access. MMP turbos with ceramic coating and bearing treatment (one yr transferable warranty left.) MMP inlets & oulets Walbro 450 7in FMIC Tial BOV w/ Charge pipe MOTIV (SPEC) twin disc clutch just broken in Full Custom SS exhaust Burger Motorsport Methanol kit Tuned on JB4 stacked with MHD 520whp on 24psi (e50 blend) 420whp on 18psi (93 pump gas) Both maps can flash in 2 mins using MHD backend flash. 54k miles Interior is just as beautiful as the exterior can snap you more pictures upon request. Regular maintenance and fluids have been changed some more than others as the car had gotten torn down for the turbo install. AC compressor has been changed and also the water pump. The car has top notch products and has been treated like so since I’ve owned it. I had it for 21k miles and it’s been a treat to own and drive. I think it would be great if you can start a separate thread explaining why MMF turbos are "not reliable." It seems like a large poo on the sellers thread with little explanation and it probably deserves a new thread to help others out. Just saying 'not reliable' is really not saying much yet pooing on the sellers thread. I don't consider OE N54 turbos to be "reliable" compared to many other turbo cars. Between wastegate rattles, oil leaks that can cost as much as 6 year old car to replace.
Can you start a separate thread and put some objective info on it on this matter since many of us N54 guys will have to confront BMW turbo issues sooner or later. Thank you. |
