I bought a couple of tires during last week's eBay 10% discount and they showed up yesterday. The vendor was named "tirehero" and I was a little skeptical, since their price was already lower than TireRack's. I thought that they might be old-stock tires, but I was willing to roll the dice since these tires are going to get burned up at the track within a year anyway. To my surprise, they showed up with a production date of July 2018! I saved about $40 in total on a set of two.

That's pretty fresh!

Tire Rack said 3 of mine are DOT date 2918 and the 4th is 3818, so new rubber for me as well.

Called and asked them minutes before this post.

The 4S tires should be pretty new since they were released not that long ago as a replacement to the SS's. You'll love the tires. I've had them since mid summer. The dry and wet performance has been amazing; even better than the SS's.

Spark plugs. Who knew?

Anyways, I ordered a power steering flush/refill kit from FCP (Pentosin CHF-11S and a new reservoir). The fluid in there now is a cloudy, almost opaque green (it's supposed to be translucent). The pump is also a little whiny for my liking, but the E90 threads I've read have said that a flush fixed their whining issues.

I'm in love with the car again...
I did a new set of plugs and coils the weekend before as well. Car pulls quite hard now. This was probably my worst looking plug.

Those aren't quite as bad as mine were. The center electrode was almost flat on mine lol I'm surprised I didn't have any misfires or running issues because of it...

Did this, coded all the warnings, no DRLs - just angel eyes, and some more. Wish I had done it last year...

Gave it a wash, vacuum and interior detailing including leather treatment. I smudged some grease on the iDrive screen, then proceeded to add a few new scratches while cleaning it.

You can never see the scratches while I'm driving, but the anti-glare coating on the older iDrive screens like the type in the E82 is incredibly fragile and easy to scratch. I'm considering applying matte finish screen protector to it to prevent further blemishes.

Not much to see. Bought a Firefly (spotted on a thread on E90post) and I now have seamless Bluetooth streaming from my S9. Cranked my MP3 copy of "Fairies Wear Boots" and it sounded good on my S676A "Professional" system, and it muted correctly when taking a call on the built in hands-free system. The Dummy-SALAPA never missed a beat.

Replaced leaky power steering reservoir, flushed the whole system of the old fluid (pitch black) and filled with fresh Pentosin CHF-11.S.

Steering feels lighter and smoother, and pump whine seems to be a little quieter (once it finally bled itself completely).
