As others said, this looks repairable.

If not, you got yourself a good excuse to wrap the car in another color.

Good luck.

I've told the story before, but it applies here - met a guy who used panel vans for his business. He told me that, whenever he got a new van, the first thing he would do is take a ball-peen hammer, and whack a dent in the bumper, so he didn't have to worry about the first ding.

So, now you don't have to worry about the first ding.

Did that help?

The day after I got my 1M I curbed a wheel making a right turn. I cursed the short wheelbase and my depth perception, shrugged my shoulders and drove off.

Don't take a look under the front bumper of my 1M. At some parts, curbs have scratched the paint away.

Perhaps they didn't want to take responsibility if they fowled up and made it worse. I'd get a second opinion!

FWIW, this is a cosmetic problem and it won't affect the heart and soul of your 1M! Good Luck
EXTREMELY good idea!!!!! Very smart.

The glue method will likely not work here - its meant for faint dents, in say the middle of a door, where the metal is very thin.

Here is an example

I actually needed this done on my wife's MDX and it worked very well.

Bad news and good news.

The bad news is it looks totalled.
The good news is I'll save you the hassle of everything and take it off your hands for a thousand dollars!

Just remove the rear tail light and have them go through there...it'll be easy.
