Shift knob for SSK
I've had my Dinan SSK installed w/ the broomstick knob for a few months now and I'm a big fan. Only complaint is that shifts are a bit notchy/crunchy. I'm about to swap out the original trans fluid for some Redline MT-LV which should help, but I'm also considering swapping out the shift knob.
I like the leverage and height (I can keep a 20oz Yeti in the cupholder and still shift), but I've been considering the ZHP and golfball knobs. Can anyone comment on these knobs and how they perform with you shifter and trans fluid combos? |

I love my ZHP with the BMWP short shifter, but it wasn't until I switched to MT-LV that the 1-2 shift finally became bearable. The added weight does reduce effort required to shift. I'm finally as happy with my shifter as I'm going to be short of replacing it with a rebuilt unit.
