Hi all,

I've been looking for ages trying to purchase either a 125i or a 135i performance exhaust to fit onto my 125i but have been unsuccessful. As a result I've been thinking of doing a performance exhaust mod on my current stock exhaust. Has anyone done this before with a 125i, I know loads of people do it on 135i exhausts but just wondering what's it's like on a 125i exhaust?

*In saying that, if anyone does see this post and does have either performance exhaust (preferably in Australia) please DM me.

Thanks

Hey man.

I don't think anyone has done it on a 125/128 exhaust, I've only seen others do it in the 135.

I think the process would be more or less the same. Just cut it open and weld any holes right slits so that it's more sealed.

I had tried to find one as well but ultimately bought a 135 exhaust.

so what i've been told with 130i owners, 125i and 130i is the same.
so from the link from babybmw and these photos from a friend, you could diy the pe exhaust.

also, if you have an auto, like me, you cannot Y pipe the resonator. I have done the golf tee mod and went back to stock because there was a slight drone and this is on a stock exhaust. my plan is to only do the back box to this pe style mod. Leave the sound insulation in and should sound a bit louder when wanted.
