3 Stage IM Bimmerlabs Problem
Currently, I'm following the tutorial to flash my ECU but I'm having trouble with the actual flash.
My error file shows the following: [15:55:34.096] [2020-08-01] [--] 1020 Error COAPIKF.CPP coapiKfInit 31 [15:55:34.096] [2020-08-01] [--] File could not be opened for reading info.eng And this is what I am seeing at the end of my Bimmerlabs window (attached image). In the screenshot, it notes the the PABD is not found. In the flash tutorial it says that specific PABD (.ipo) files are not needed if using the bimmergeeks download like I am. https://bimmerlabs.com/help#winkfp I'm going to keep trying to identify the issue but if anyone has suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. |

After working through the RSA Delete file in expert mode, I'm having trouble flashing the new tune. I've tried starting from square one several times and can now get the tune to flash but I get an error message at the end. This is after flashing the file in comfort mode. In expert mode, I get this error when loading in the data file. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be appreciated! I have sent in a request to bimmerlabs as well. Happy to say, with the help of hassmachine, everything has flashed as designed!
Ultimately, I updated my drivers, added the VIN, and everything ran perfectly in comfort mode. While it was most likely the missing VIN that caused the issues, I would definitely encourage those who do this next to update the drivers. |

Well the steps are outlined here - I worked through a few errors but there was, eventually, only two steps I had to do that weren't included in the directions. https://www.bimmerlabs.com/help
What's the error you're getting? |

In the instructions it has you edit the file to make this update.
Secondly, you need to download daten files bimmergeeks "Browse to where your Daten files are saved. Under ECUdata, find your chassis - E9x and E87 are under E89, etc" |

Thank you! Update: got a stable install using this link. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.car...-10-vista/amp/ Loaded the Bimmerlabs tunes and LOVE the results. Still haven't been able to get the bimmergeeks install to work. |
