Replaced the passenger side headlight with a used one as my original one had a damaged LED eyebrow, and the PO had unplugged the driver's side one too... I was troubleshooting why the AHL error wouldn't go away until I noticed missing screws from the SMC cover - clearly something was up. Damn eBay seller had opened the SMC module and taken out the board. Swapped over the board from my old headlight and all is well!

It looks so damn good! Totally changes the appearance of the car at night. However, now the "new" headlight is fogging up a lot :/

Thanks! Nothing super fancy. Just the typical M3 arm, Dinan camber plates, Bilstein B12 pro-kit setup you see a lot around here.

Got her back from the dealer for the recalls - hopefully it won't end like up like some E90 I saw on the highway burning bright.

Immediately back under the knife once I got home. Had to replace a crank position sensor and my large DISA. Throughout the week I had been getting a crank position sensor code, and it ran funny - sometimes stalling when it fell to idle. Tach was all over the place too.

Large DISA just fell apart lol, it was one I rebuilt and JB welded together. Tried my luck on eBay, ordered a used on and it came working just fine!

Was the 1er starting to idle rough which prompted you to change the plugs?

My mechanic only replaced the coil pack and plug in cylinder #2 only.

The 1er would misfire when the engine was cold and during acceleration in the morning. After about a week of that, then I got the "Engine Service Soon" indicator turning on a off and the engine felt like it was going stall on idle.

If I had an OBD2 reader, it probably would have told me #2 was going south.

After some Googling, the coil pack typically lasts around 80k miles. Guess I got a bad one.

My car came with the adaptive headlights. If I were to buy the non-adaptive headlights, will that cause any problems? Can the adaptive headlights error be coded out?

I replaced my cabin air filter in my 135i today. Honestly it was the easiest cabin air filter I've replaced on a car; I was very happy.

Removed my cabin air filter and installed my Burger Motorsports Cabin air filters.

Easier to keep the leaves and pine tags out with them installed.

Pulled the headlight switch and cut the 4 tabs off so now I have rear fogs. Bright!!!

I'll be damed if I can pull the vent surround above the headlight switch without bending it half way up on the inside edge. Never gotten one off by simply lifting.

Just spent half an hour researching about this rear fog light mod.
Went outside to do it then found my car already had the factory euro switch but I never noticed it before!

Guess I don't need to mod Afterall!

Swapped out the summer tires/wheels (General G-Max RS on 17"Apex Arc-8's) for the winter rubber on stock rims. It's getting too cold in the morning to run the summers. It feels like I traded the 128i for a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado. Plush. At least the winter tires don't track in rain grooves like the Generals.

Replaced the drivers side seatbelt pre-tensioner, $110 for the pre-tensioner and $540 for fittment along with a couple of other things. I also fitted new roundels onto the car. This is getting expensive recently!

Scored an amazing deal on a set of 135iS Style 313 wheels and tires locally. So clean, even the barrels and hubs are dust-free and they still have the original Potenza RFTs from 2013! They totally transform this car - been a huge fan of them since I had a set on my 335i back in the day.

Going to slap winters on the stock 261s and she's good for both seasons now

313's are perfection as far as OEM wheels go. Looks fantastic!
