Just casually looked for a flywheel on all the junkyards locally and found one that looked exactly like an Mfactory one lol. Came with a clutch too. Btw big fan of your channel

now thats a serious score. Did you see other signs the car was modified or anything that tipped you off? Im planning to upgrade my clutch and am pretty set on the 335is/550I clutch, but need to figure out what to do for a flywheel!

It's coming tomorrow, so I guess it'll be a surprise when I take the clutch off. It looked pretty clean in the car and the flywheel looked decently clean. And I've bought a 335is/550i clutch off of a forum member a week ago. I'm guessing if the guy put a better flywheel, he could've put a 335is clutch... never know lol. I'll let you know if I end up having 2 of them haha

Update:
Looks like the mfactory flywheel I bought from the junkyard came with a brand new 335is clutch. The rivets are still shiny like new.

Update! 200$ takes the flywheel, $70 for the clutch!!

Does year/build date determine whether or not you have 6bolt vs 8bolt?

Yes. I forgot the actual date, but i think it happens on the 2009 builds.
