E60/63 Sport Seats fit in E82?

So I've been thinking,

I love the look of the E60/3 Sport seats. They're much more comfortable and have nicer leather. Has anybody retrofitted them into the 1 series? or even know if it is possible? They don't have any additional functionality over the E82 seats, so all the electronics should work (with re-pinning connectors), but I don't know if they physically can fit/mount.

I feel like the seat brackets and mounting points are most likely different, but I can't find any dimensions for either one. I did find an aftermarket bracket that allows you to use 3rd party seats on both an E46 and E63, but does that mean you could put E63 seats into an E46? I know I've seen E82's with Z4M seats and I figured Z4M seats would be the same size as E46 seats, but again, I haven't found anything in my searches.

I used to own an E60 5 series, doubt the seats will work however many 1 series owners have successfully installed E92 seats.

Yah, I'm aware of the E90 seat swap, but I'd really like nicer leather as well (Nappa, Merino, Etc.). I know the E90 M3 could have Novillo leather, but I don't have any experience with that.

Anybody have an E60 with sport seats or an M5 and can measure the max width of the seat cushion including bolsters? That will at least give me an idea of if it will even physically fit between the trans tunnel and door card.
