Carbon Fiber Trunk replacement question?
My issue/question is that I wanted to have a CF trunk with a GT CF wing attached that I could put on the car before track day and take off afterwards replacing with the OEM. I had not initially thought I would want it as a permanent trunk with wing on full time. I thought I could just buy the trunk lid latch so that it would close. However, I realize that the electronics to open the trunk are in the upper latch which means it needs to be wired.
Question, are there any suggestions how I can swap the truck lids back and forth easily without having to completely duplicate all the wiring for the trunk? I had not cared about the Third brake light and licensee plate lights being wired for the track. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

Your best case scenario is to purchase another module, then swapping trunks should really be as simple as a single plug for the wiring harness.
