Dakar Yellow. It would look very nice sitting next to the original M Coupe (e36) in my garage!
I just put down a deposit at the dealer and I'm #1 on the list so here is hoping for non-metallic orange or Dakar Yellow! |

I'm curious to see what the metallic orange mentioned looks like.
I've always wanted an orange car, and a green car. I have little doubt BMW will have at least one or two colors for the car that I'll like

I was initially planning on Inka or metallic orange, but as of late Estoril is looking a little more appealing.
I wonder when we will start seeing official colors and options? Perhaps in January following the official revealing in Detroit? |

I like the flashy non-metallic colors such as Melbourne Red, Laguna Seca Blue, Dakar Yellow, Inca Orange, Alpine White,... also the two metallic colors Atlantis Blue and Power Green. But I think I'd go with Jet Black, and Shadow-Line (Highgloss-Black) window trim, rims, grill, gills, and exhaust tips with tinted windows.

Yes, I will be trading in my 135i, for the 1//M, if they offer it in Dakar (to match my M3) or Inca Orange!

If you don’t order it at the beginning of the run, the will usually reject the order. It took BMW AG almost a month before they approved the order. Then you have to wait until there is a slot to do the special paint. You don’t have to jump through any hoops, but from what I was told, dealers are only able order only a few INDIVUDUAL orders per year. They usually reserve those for the Alpinas. The price for the Individual color is 5k. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Power Green looks interesting too, with all black trim/wheels.

Since the M3 GTS is so rare and only 150 produced and only came in Inca orange. I personally think this color will be strictly off limits

I do not understand this. Now if I could afford an M3 GTS, paying so much I would demand a want a different color. I would take my M3 GTS in Alpine White, with Black High Gloss window trim, grills, gills, rims, hood vents, mirror caps, exhaust tips, front lip and wing.

Isn't the demand for that thing sky high? If so, then they can control the specs and features on the car as much as they'd like. |

GTS is Fire Orange and not Inca Orange, Inca Orange will not be available. Scott did say that they have two orange finishes which may be available, one in metallic and one in standard finish. I am hoping the non-metallic makes it to the 1M, if so that is what I will go with. Otherwise I'll look for a non metallic blue (laguna seca is tops) or settle with AW.
