1M - Colour Poll

The list was compiled from the members who posted in the Color thread here on the 1M sub forum.


I quite like Jerez at the moment, but had Sparkling grey in mind. I have an Apline White 1er and the attention it gets is ridiculous in my area. I think AW and M Sport bumper must have a lot of presence. I'm thinking conservative on the next one. But we'll see - I love bright confident colours!

Unfortunatly for man god deemed sgm too beautiful to be viewed by human eyes and he and Jesus threw it on the back of the holy spirit and brought it back up to heaven

unfortunatly tho bf has reported that the 1M will only be offered in black white and Valencia...similar to the lack of colors on the E30

I would choose Valencia out of those colors and my lease is up in august next year so the timing is perfect

What Bimmerfile actually said: "While we seriously doubt the 1M will be available in one color, we could see the range being very limited to Valencia Orange and a few classic M colors like Alpine White and perhaps the M exclusive Jerez Black. Of course that’s just informed speculation on our part but we’d be more than surprised to see a full palette offered."

I don't read that as 1M will only be available in black, white, and Valencia, but rather the color selection will be limited (a la 335is) and will most likely include at least these three colors.

Even though I'm no longer interested in one, I would have gone for the Valencia Orange, but it would also have been dependant on what interior colours were being offered......I don't like sitting in an all black coal hole.

FYI, BimmerFile said they were just "speculating" about the limited color palette, but I guess a lot of their speculations do turn out to be inside info.

I've always been partial to LSB and Imola, but so far I like this Valencia Orange as well, especially if they end up keeping it exclusive to the 1M. I think the idea of a limited color palette is cool if the production run is very small, otherwise it will just be annoying.

Yes but... I wouldn't be surprised to see a VERY small selection of colors. Great poll btw!

Hmmm ... one color (Valencia Orange) and two non-colors (black and white) seems like very poor choice.
