Correct -- I'm aiming for 450-500 rwhp right now and I don't think I'll need the inlets for that. I doubt my AT can handle much more.. Once I'm ready to think about transmission upgrades then I'll think about adding TFT inlets and cranking it up higher

But good luck, 450-500 shouldn't be an issue with those turbos. Can't wait to see the final result. Also let me know how the car fairs at autox now! |

FWIW, in my last event before turbo failure, I was ~1 sec off the fastest pace in my class (BMWCCA, not SCCA) and I could have definitely shaved off at least that much by not making as many mistakes. This car was certainly a great contender in AA. I'll let you know how I fair in AAA next year (doubt the car will be ready for the last events of this season )

Inlets make the boost level more consistent throughout the rpm range and improve transient response of the turbos. Also, some people have nearly eliminated the torque drop between 6K and 6800 with inlets installed. I'm consistently a second off of F80s (who set fast pace in my class) at my local autox with a 245 square. Can't imagine what it'll feel like with 275 and proper tires. Basically i'm saying that i'm very jealous of you! |

New H&R front sway bar, stett charge pipe, fuel injectors, and o2 sensors are all installed.
My stock turbos are behaving again and logs look clean so I'll be able to make the last autocross event of the season tomorrow!

Extra 10-15 lbs in front of my front wheels hasn't been super appealing to me given I use this car mostly for BMWCCA autocross events.

awesome build.
are you running the red ground control coilovers that are currently on their website that come with the m3 lower camber arm? If so, how do you like the setup? Any issues?

Thanks!
Thanks! Yes, I'm running that kit (well mine is different colors, but its the same kit) -- absolutely no issues and I love the setup!
