Do E87 Coilovers fit the E82?

Was just wondering because I'm looking at some coilovers and there seem to be some coilovers that only list they fit the E87. Thanks

Fitment is similar but may not be exactly the same. The E87 may have a longer or shorter strut/shock and/or different damping requirements.
