2011 BMW 135i Exhaust sound recording

In case you haven't heard the 2011 135i, I've attached a recording I made while I was on ED last week. Love the sound, very throaty and "meaty".

Dont get me wrong, lovely noise but....

I question the wisdom of revving so hard with no load a brand new, cold engine. Call me old fashioned....

Well, the engine wasn't cold (I had just finished a run on some awesome Italian roads), and the car had 1500 miles on it by then. I put almost 1800 miles on my car in 12 days. I think it was OK.

Wait, so is this an '11 or a '10?

Sorry, I edited the OP to get it right. This is the new '11 with the N55 engine.

IMHO (and I have an E92 Coupe that had a Borla and now stock again)..VERY different but sound recordings are always a tad different recording to recording.
