Able to order the E92 from SF BMW?

Here's what I got in my email box today:
The time has finally come!! We are able to order the new 2007 328i and the 335i Coupes. An all-wheel drive 328xi Coupe is not too far away either!

Pricing is not available yet, but BMW has suggested that the 335i will start at $40,000 before options. We should expect the 328i to start at around $34,000.

Options, although we don't have an official list, will most likely be the familiar ones such as Premium Package, Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Premium Sound, Xenon Adaptive Headlamps (std. 335i), Park Distance Control, Active Steering, Heated Seats, Rear Sunshade, Navigation System, and Steptronic Automatic Transmission.

Please contact me if you would like more information about ordering. The production is very limited, so it would be in your best interest to act as soon as you can. Our first cars are scheduled to be produced the last week of July. They should arrive here by September 1.

What did your Canadian dealer tell you? I was told ~$54k base with all the respective options available.

Nice pricing for the Americans, 40k base is pretty nice.

sounds to me like they don't know what they are talking about because the xenon headlights come standard on ALL E92s and they list it under options. Makes the comment about pricing sound very unreliable to me but I hope its right.

they said they dont know the official option list, so it could just be a guess based on e90 options.

It could be legit, just coming from yet another misinformed CA. Believe me I've encountered many at various dealerships.

I was told 3-5K over 330 price, but really I don't think anyone in North America has a clue.

I think the price has been set, so a lot of the folks at BMW NA know what it is.

Xenons(non adaptive) are standard for the E92 in Europe.

I dont get why people think it's BS?? The guy got an email from the dealer and shared it with us and all we did is criticize his shit. Man im so sick of that shit. Even if we think it's fake/false or wutever, at least give him the benefit of the doubt.

I'm not saying the POSTER was the purveyor of the BS, i'm saying the Salesperson is.

Apologies if I was unclear.

Different countries offer unique standard options, check out this link for those offered in the USA. Take note that adaptive headlites are standard on both the 328i & the 335i. Maybe that CA has not seen this or just scanned it quickly? No big deal!

Read the email closer the options they list are examples. They are just listing "standard" options for the 325/330 sedan:

The price is very accurate, as I suggested several times in the past.
