Tracking with the 1-800 number
I now have my order number, and was interested in the 1-800 number. Do I have to talk to a real person, or is it an automated service? It'll be a few weeks before I get my VIN

When we used to call the # we got basic "your car is _____" info. from an automated person. It was informative enough but you can opt to talk to a real person if you want more detailed information.

You don't have to talk to a live person. It's automated and will look up your info based on your production order number. You can talk to a live operator though...sometimes they have more up to date info than "Annie". You have to call between certain times though to speak to a live person...M-F from 9am to 9pm(EST). You should refer to this thread for more information.

Please note, Canadian thread. We have no automated 800 #
We always talk to a real person and always get info about 1 to 2 weeks behind where the car actually is. DO NOT CALL THEM.

Stupid "new posts" button. 1-2 weeks behind, that sucks. I agree don't bother calling...
