TPMS on Aftermarket Rims?
Hello All,
Just wondering how many of you put the BMW TPMS on your aftermarket rims? Or do you just go with the plain/basic valve stems? |

I too have a 2010 128i and am looking to purchase new rims (VMR 710's) within the next few weeks and am wondering if I should spend the extra cash for TPMS or just go with regular valve stems.

TPMS is very valuable with low profile tires. I'm sure many took their systems from their stock wheels and put them on the aftermarket set.

You can transfer over the OE TPMS Sensors but need to dismount the factory wheels and tires. You end up paying more with mounting and balancing fees over time. We typically package together TPMS Sensors with tires for a ready to go package.

We mount OE BMW TPMS on our VMR Wheels all the time.
