How long from Halifax port to AB?

Emailed my CA today and I have a VIN!!! Now that is exciting.

I'm assuming I go to the AutoCargo page of the WW website and enter my VIN there to see if it's been loaded on a ship yet?

Car arrived in Halifax on Mar 22 and picked up car from dealership on Apr 10.

Still trying to break in the vehicle so haven't gone all out yet. A fun car to drive.

Well my car arrived at the Halifax port on April 9th and it arrived in Vancouver on April 29th.... Thats probably the most realistic timeline/worst case scenario

OK, first I was going to get upset, being that I worked all day with numbers, as usual, and complain, and tell you that you just ruined my night. Then I actually did the math right, 20 days. To the West Coast. If you factor out the bumps (i.e. The Rockies), and assume a worst case delivery for Alberta of 20 days after arrival in Halifax, I will get my car on May 20th. That's a whopping 11 days before the expected delivery date as of yet.

I picked up my car yesterday - turns out it was the 1st one that gallery in calgary has sold!

So it took 3 weeks from port to calgary.

Nice ... I'm expecting mine at the Gallery hopefully next week. Mine arrived at the port on April 14th, my dealer told me should be here before May 10th.

You must have been on the Fedora with me.
My car hits Vancouver on Monday and I should have it a few days after that so May 10th for you seems a bit pessimistic.

That is what I thought. I think May 10th was a worst case scenario ... I'm really hoping I get the call in the next day or two.

wolf, did you have any luck with searail.ca, or even call them? I know you got confirmation of when your car will arrive, was that from the dealer? my dealer told me that he will get a 2 week notice and that as soon as that happens, he will let me know. my car was discharged at halifax yesterday and I was going to give it one or two days before calling searail.ca
essentially, now that I can not track the location of the ship anymore (I can but it is useless), my life is over

No I never checked as I saw a post on here that said Searail was no help. My info came from my CA. He actually emailed me a copy of the shipping statement showing the shipping date, est. arrival date, railcar number and railcar position.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT call the BMW Customer Service number. They still show my car in Halifax and it's been on a train since the 17th. They damn near gave me a heart attack.

that said, I wouldn't trust that lady to have been able to tell me the colour of the sky.

I've also had no luck with Searail ... They were very polite on the phone when I called the Halifax office, but it didn't sound like they were going to be getting any info on the status of my car.

Looks like once the car hits the port, your only lifeline is your dealer.

Why is it that the US can have the Owners Circle to track their orders and Canada doesn't? It's only software and the systems for all of BMW NA must be the same so what's the deal?
