I woke up today to find out that our little BMW:135i was no longer standing on the docks of Germany. She was finally accepted aboard her first cruise, actually yesterday, according to the manifest. You are asking how I can track her. Well... a week ago, my SA/CA gave me her VIN.

Lucky for us who know how to type 17 characters can actually make sure she has her room on the ship. I had to try every day to get the VIN to work... Yet nothing! Every day for a whole week! Finally it worked...


I think she is now sitting on a steamer chair sipping 5W30 Butterglog watching the views. Hopefully she doesn't gamble away too much. Maybe she will throw in her ignition key ring, and win a M Sport pedal. In any case if she drinks too much it's possible there might be fights and then everyone comes in a mess. Smashed doors, or crushed hoods would make me very upset indeed. Well here is a copy of her "e-ticket"

For those of you who still don’t have your car when she arrives... I would let you all wash her, but I actually have a waiting list... The next number I am calling is 5664. I can fit in 2 per week... No soap! That's extra! Oh it's a PACKAGE. When you do come over, the cloth will be missing, as not everyone washes a car with a cloth?
FYI: Here in Ontario the woman are legally allowed to bare-chested in public... I say no more...

I was told 14 days. Then another 10 days by train to dealership.

Now that I know my baby is on the boat, and she is safe, I can sleep again... no more waking up at 1:35

I guess I will have to find a space on my driveway... ok cars, it's time to get rid of you all... make room for the princess!

my add1ction is coming back guys, any ACTUAL transit times for alberta 1ers so far?
I want to graph it and do probabilistic analysis so that I can add conservative factors that will lead to an estimated delivery date precise (not accurate) to the nearest minute... so that I can produce a countdown clock to stare at between the time when I am done my calculations and the time when the car in fact arrives.
