To any Toronto area 1er's who recently got a SMG 135i

laingmui, I'm not sure what dealership you went to but that is way too long. I ordered on April 6th and it's on a boat right now heading for Halifax.

I hope that I'm on the same boat then. I ordered mine at the end of March but had missed April production because of the color. I was told July would be the delivery date (My SA didn't give me a production #. He told me that he wouldn't be getting any info on the car until its on the boat-but now after reading on the fourms here, I know is BS)

What was the delivery date they gave you?

I ordered April 6th for a late April production. It was an allocation they could change to my colour and options. They said first week of June. It'll probably end up coming 2nd or 3rd week now because there was some significant delays from when it was finished at the factory and when it finally got onto the boat.

Push them again for a production number because it is utter crap not to get one from them since it's in their system and easily accessible.

OK.. So I need some advice now.
I emailed me SA and asked him if there are any updates on my car and if there is a production # or a VIN that he couldn give me. I also asked if there is a chance that I would be getting delivery earlier than July because it seems as though people that ordered the same time as me are picking up their cars now.
This was emailed on Wednesday, I sent a read receipt with my email so I know that he read it on Thursday morning. It is now Saturday and I have still yet to hear from him

What do I do know? Go down to the dealership and complain? The only reason why I don't want to do that is cause I don't want to ruin the "relationship" with my SA (well not until at lease I have the car)

Just ask to talk with the sales manager. Depending on the circumstances, he may be the person you continue to talk with for the remainder of the deal.

But perhaps it's "about" to show up so who knows...
