Supporting mods ?

I'm about to buy some 17t turbos for my 135i because my seal is going bad on one of the oem turbos. I was just wondering what supporting mods I should have on my car for when they install the 17t turbos. Right now am running a 20psi e40 mixture. Supporting mods: dual cone intake, ***less downpipes, upgraded Chargepipe and upgraded coil packs. Thanks for the help !!

You need a better intercooler than stock if you don't already have one. A good 5" may work OK for street use but likely a 7.5" is in your future.

Based on the turbo size, it looks like you're sizing up by a good amount (stocks are 10T I believe).

If thats the case, make sure fueling is in perfect order (flawless injectors, good condition HPFP) and possibly consider an upgraded LPFP and port injection.

And of course, no weak spots in gaskets or anything of that nature to speak of, otherwise you will probably find out quickly.

High fin density
