Cold Weather/Cold Start Leak at Oil Thermostat Delete Plate?
Noticed a pretty notable oil leak at the OFH/thermostat delete plate interface this morning during cold start, but went away almost entirely once the car warmed up. Is that the first sign of the gasket going bad, or is this a common issue for those running the delete plates due to material/thickness differences, etc.? It was pretty cold (40 degrees or so) in the garage when I started it.

I dont have a therm delete plate but i just had a leak in there and it wasnt the thermo gasket but the ofh cap. Which was leaking in a way that it looked like it was from the therm gasket. Which there is no part # for it, i just used gasket maker and i changer the therm gasket as well and it was fixed.
Probably not your problem but you might want to check it. BTW nice engine bay!! Looks so clean |

The remote in-line thermostat is from Mishimoto and the delete plate is from RBTurbo. I run it to a Mishimoto cooler in the regular duct location and then an M4 cooler tucked under the intercooler is run in line with that for additional capacity. It's a pretty slick set-up, but I can't take credit for it since it comes from the previous owner. I just get to trouble shoot all the little details!
