Yeah that would drive me insane. I'd have to get two new fenders to make sure they matched haha

Only tip I've got to offer- That PITA strut to front hub removal business- it's really easy if you get a gravity assist

Pull all the lower bits leaving the top three nuts tight. Use a jack to control lowering the hub off the strut and easy peasy you're good to go! Lots of room to pull the strut out of the fender!

In the classic style, assembly is the reverse- attach the top three nuts first, remember the gasket, then use the jack to lift the hub back on the strut & finish up the rest.
I think your headlights need a bit of polishing.

Spent 3.5 hours cleaning the car.
2.5 hours in a wheels off detail where I sonax cleaned, dried and the applied wheel wax.
The last hour was a deep wash and applied optimum tire gel to the tires.

Car glosses so well and the wheels are a glossy and shiny silver. I have a brand new car again.

this substance on the surface is Michigan road salt and perhaps chocolate lab saliva from last week.

it looks better this week after a few hours with wash, clay, and sealant treatment.

At least it isn't pollen, as in, every time you touch the car your eyes get a little puffy and your nose runs...

It's even worse when you don't have any time to clean it or get it cleaned because you either have a tennis match, band stuff, or are busy helping to get the house ready to rent-out for a pointless cross-town move

Oh well, I still love my car! It needs an alignment, though, it just isn't feeling perfect after a weekend at the track.

Any tips on front sway bars? I'm stuck in-between the ECS 28mm bar (solid, very red) and the Hotchkis 32mm bar (tubular, "95% stiffer than OE"). After adding-in some fresh HD end links (mine are toast) the ECS comes out to about $290, while the Hotchkis is around $350...

Found a DIY Workshop so i booked a lift and tools for Saturday.

Will do replacing the brake pads and discs all round, plugs, belt, tensioner, roller, all filters and all oils/fluids.

Will see if they offer any painting services, i know they have a polishing facility as well.

Do not get me started with Pollen, we have a pollen fiesta here in Bavaria and just 2 hours after i washed the car a nice film of yellow dust is sitting on the car.

Spent 2-3 hours detailing the interior, now i am driving with the windows up all the time despite the gorgeous weather.

I wish I could spend another 12 hours on the car to get it back to better than new!
Interior cleaning and conditioning along with paint correction and coating is next.

Although I can't decide which coating to go with. Gtechniq Exo lasted a little over a year.

God damn it, i am not a huge fan of white cars, but mine is white and i am kind of glad it is since it is my daily and parked outside 24/7.

I have a similar film of pollen on my car as we speak, but because it is white it hides the thickness of the film really well, but close up it is heavy like yours.

Florida here, where it's 99% pollen and 1% air & breathing is optional
Pretty sure every car in the state is green right now....

Those post-suspension install pics I posted above? I had literally just gone through a car wash and you can see the pollen already on the black.

pita.....
