Question Parrot CK3000 Evo & Ipod/USB retrofit - POSSIBLE?

I've recently realised I can install the ipod/usb retrofit kit (Part no: 65 41 0 427 467) to my E81 with standard business radio.

For the uninitiated: this kit provides you with both ipod & usb connections in the glovebox. It connects to the back of the business radio, and (if present) allows control from the multi-function steering wheel - which is where the issue rears it's head. Amongst other functions assigned to the steering (like next/prev track) this retrofit kit uses the 2 phone buttons to enter/go-back folders present on the usb stick.

The problem I have is how will this co-exist with the functions already assigned to those buttons (rightly so as they are phone related!) by the Parrot CK3000 EVO + Connects2 CTPPAR009 (the one w/o the need for the parrot control pad).

Does anyone already have this setup? Any info. on how they react together would be appreciated!
