First, you need to get a thin flathead. At the bottom of the trim, there should be a small gap that you can fit the flathead in. All you need to do is gently pry from there and move your way up on the side of the trim. The trim is held on by 5-6 clips. goodluck!

If you go to the technical section of the website into the audio section, there is a thread talking about speakers from BSW - Bavarian Sound Works. In this thread is a link to a video showing how to remove the door panels. You have to take off the wood trim piece to see two of the three screws, the third is down in the door pocket if I remember right.

go to the DIY section and look for the Trim Removal Thread. Trim removal can also be found under the CF fabric Install DIY. Also, while I am sure a flathead screwdriver will work, you may want to invest in a set of trim removal tools. You can find them at most auto parts stores and they look like plastic forks almost. For under 20 bucks they are amazing at performing the trim removal job without the risk of breaking anything, which might occur if you are not careful with the screwdriver.

Thanks for the info, I looked through loads of posts but every link they referred to are out of date, therefore no info available. I'm assuming I just clip of the brushed aluminium trim on the interior door pulls and the screws are located under there. Once I unscrew all screws I should be able to pull the trim off, starting at the lower corner first?

FWIW, there's a recent thread in the audio section about bavarian sound works speakers which has a link to a video how-to of theirs and they remove the interior door panels on the video

pretty much all the trim removal DIY can be found here. i believe there is even a link instructing how to remove the center console in order to remove the storage cubby/ash tray trim... as i said before, i highly recommend buying a set of trim removal tools. there are some pictured in the DIY in the link above. they look a little like plastic forks. especially for removing the aluminum trim, you really need to use the plastic tools, using metal, i.e. screwdriver, you can scratch the trip up pretty badly if you are not super careful. i just removed ALL of the trim in my car in order to wrap it with CF fabric, so if you have any further questions feel free to PM me ciao
