Try automotive entertainment in Pasadena, located on Rosemead just south of the DMV.

How much is a reasonable price for a installation of a sound system?

Is automotive entertainment expensive?

HID Fogs make a very very noticable difference. I used to have a set on my e46 330ci and wow the fogs itself would have been sufficient enough to light up the road as long as if it was aimed a little bit higher. Also, hid fogs look awesome when they match your low beams.

Why not put HID fogs as factory? I don't like that they don't match currently.

The hid kit should be all plug and play.

I believe automotive entertainment now charges about $65/hr., which is pretty normal now for good installations. They will do a great job and maybe you can even work something out. Make sure you go to the one in Pasadena though and not the one in Santa Monica, because they are different companies even though they share the same name. If you are interested in some car audio parts let me know. I have two Image Dynamics IDQ10 subs, Xtant a6001 amp, and a Zapco Reference350 amp.

$125?? Ok that is defenitely not a place to go and downtown probably shouldn't be on your list. Most places in downtown only know enough to get the system working but it will sound like crap and the installation will be poor. I don't know what you expect or want out of your system but I would expect you to spend at least $2000 for parts and labor. Automotive only does high-end car audio and most of the cars they work on are bimmers. There's also a huge list of other high-end stores too so do your research and shop around.

For the love of god, please do us all a favor- HID foglamps are pretty cool, but if your going to have them, PLEASE aim them properly!

HID stuff is very bright and nobody is going to think your car looks "sik" if they can't see a damn thing because you've temporarily blinded them. BMW and other car makers go through great lengthis to get HID headlights tuned so they don't blind oncoming traffic because really- what good is a bright set of headlights if they have blinded everyone within view?

Good call -- it's very annoying and unsafe to have someone blind you from behind. If someone is coming up from behind with crazy bright lights, I'll just downshift and dust them.
