If the OP will take $18k for his car when he's done, i'd gladly give it to him. You're out of your mind thinking nobody would buy it for more than that.

I don't really care what the resale value opinion of others are tbh, it's amazing how he can value it at less than 18k without knowing the spec mileage or history of the car, at the end of the day it will look and go like a 1m which is good enough for me to keep! How many 1m's do you see on the road, not many in the uk

It's a project which takes time and commitment to do, glad I took the advice of the overseas members as when I went to see it today it looked a lot better than a 135i

Rear arches and doors all finished and looking mint, got to say the flecks in the sapphire black are amazing! The boot, bonnet, front wings are done now as well so just the front bumper which will be painted tomorrow ready to be put back together. After that time to replace the battery tray and mount the new exhaust

Really happy with the work it is of a very high standard!

Thanks mate, still ten steps behind yours though!

Just curious if you swapped the steering rack from the 1M?

No steering rack staying the same as I can't find out enough info on fitting etc, plus the steering rack is £1300!

How much do you think the conversion has cost??

It's only worth as much as it'll sell for. Keep in mind my 08 almost sold for 30k last year with the buyer fully knowing of what had been done and inspected the full history of the vehicle. I had to say I'm sorry to the potential buyer when my funds came through.

get on that 1M exhaust or aftermarket! PM me if you want to know exactly what needs to be done. I would say it can be done for about $1000-1500
