It's been freezing in the NYC this past few days and finally those evil snowflakes came down yet again. My heat has been blowing fine all winter and has decided to stop. My car was sitting all day and when I came back to 3 inches of powdery snow in the parking lot I couldn't help myself and did a few donuts. My heat is fine as I leave the lot and all of a sudden i put the front defroster on (which brings the fan speed to MAX) and it just dies. No air comes out of the vents but I feel heat. I hear the actuator moving when I push the buttons for feet, face, etc. but nothing comes on. Now how much money am I going to spend for my little stunt? Did i blow a fuse, does this high mileage 1er need a new FSU, or a motor.
![]() Thanks for any help, its freezing and I'm going to be in trouble if I screwed up! ![]() UPDATE Came back on its own but definitely will be looking to change the FSU if not the whole system. Last edited by Ladydragonz; 02-17-2016 at 10:21 PM.. |
