Noob with some new wheels
Hello all,
Picked up my 135i in Oct. Traded in an E46 M3 for it. Haven't missed the E46 at all. Just got my wheels/tires put on today. They are O.Z. Alleggrita, 18X8 F, 18X9 R, ET40 F&R. Continental DWS 215/40 F, 235/40 R. Dropped on H&R Supersport springs: 2.2" F, 1.6" R. No rubbing issues at all. Was worried with the offset, and drop, but it seems to be working. And I'm in NYC, so they have been put to the test. Included are some pics. Any and all comments welcome. <center> <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/?action=view&current=DSC00737.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/th_DSC00737.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a> <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/?action=view&current=DSC00740.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/th_DSC00740.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a> <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/?action=view&current=DSC00742.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/th_DSC00742.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a> <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/?action=view&current=DSC00745.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/th_DSC00745.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a> <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/?action=view&current=DSC00746.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/th_DSC00746.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a> <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/?action=view&current=DSC00753-1.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/th_DSC00753-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a> <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/?action=view&current=DSC00755-1.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/th_DSC00755-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a> <a href="http://s195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/?action=view&current=DSC00756.jpg" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"><img src="http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z106/sware155/th_DSC00756.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket" ></a> </center>

Looks good... but damn, my car is squirly with 255 star specs on the rear (no tune) I can't imagine what 235's will feel like.
It does look really nice though. |

Thanks for the compliments. The 235's act pretty much the same as the Bridgestone 245's that came with the car. I won't be tracking it, that's why I went with those sizes. I'm really amazed with these springs, because nothing rubs, and the ride didn't get harsh. I just have to be cautious around NYC with it down so low, but I have lived here my whole life, and slam every car I own. I guess you just get used to it.
