BMW CCA Golden Gate Chapter autox #2

The next Golden Gate Chapter BMW CCA autox is on May 17 (Sunday). Registration is open and limited to 100 cars. We are 2/3 sold already so regsiter soon. We usually do 7 or 8 runs and try to get in fun runs at the end. You must be a BMW CCA member to attend. No other requirement other than having a driver's license (unless you are under 18...in which case your parents will have to sign a minor waiver form - PM for details). Cost is $45 and an additional $5 if you want us to provide you lunch.

Don't worry if you have never autoxed before. We have experienced autoxers who will coach you and give you some help. We are very friendly and open to first timers. So come out and see some nice BMWs, talk to some bimmerheads and see what your car is capable of in a safe environment. We had 4 1-ers out there in April. I hope to see more out there in May.

I signed up the day of and got my Motel 6 reservations too. It looks like Dan was out there in April. His wife came out to the Car Control Clinic a couple months back. Anyway...i'm lookng forward to the Autox.

Dan and Katherine were both there. I think the May autox is on their daughter's birthday so they will not be there. But they are planning on being at the June event.

We might be...her birthday is on the 21st, and the 17th seemed to be the best day for her party (the following weekend is memorial holiday). But we found out the 17th is Bay to Breakers, and getting around the city is going to be a nightmare....so we are likely to move the party to the 30th. TMI, i know...but it's looking like that day may be free.

very nice. Weather was perfect down in Marina. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day. Hope you had a good time. Love the SGM.
