Yah, well that's where I'm lucky. The Z4 is a second (summer ) car and if they offer me the right trade-in price tomorrow, they can keep it.

Hope you guys have better luck with your trades then I did...

They are selling for $30k ish, book value for trade is 25, they offered by 20-21...

Part the reason I've walked away.

Yeah I "could" still sell it on my own and get 29 for it, but I didn't really want the hassle of having to private sale, and all I wanted was book value, but oh well.

I agree with that.
I know what 2003 Z4s are going for on Autotrader and what the Black Book values are, so if they're gonna dick around, I'm walking. I love my Z4 and I have extended warranty for another 2 years, so walking away will not be a difficult choice...

Ya the only reason i am trading and not selling is to avoid the hassle and the taxes.. if they give me to little i wouldnt know what to do hahahaa.. and yes you are lucky you store that Z4... damn need to talk to my rep to see how this goes...

$2k for PDI is certainly not unheard of for overseas imports. It also depends on how you are from the port of delivery (and for BMW there's only one, obviously on the east coast).

For $400 admin fee is a bit much, I agree. But most dealerships also charge admin fees, just a question of how much I guess.
