Part of that is because they are like 235s on the rear of that car... you can see on the outbound lap how tiny they are. Ridiculous to have 1M bodywork and not stuff a 285+ on the rear... sacrilege!

Failed race car drivers are addicted to spinning their tires so the narrower the better.

I suspect the rear differential is locked.
