ActiveE Meet in New Jersey

I'm hosting a BMW ActiveE meet in Montclair New Jersey on Sunday, April 7th. I'm expecting over 20 ActiveE as well as lots of curious onlookers. If you have an ActiveE and live in the area please bring it, and if you don't and would just like to see the cars and talk to the owners then please come on by. I have three L2 charging stations and there are five public chargers within a mile so there are plenty of places to charge if you need to do so. Here's the details:

Sunday, April 7th
10:30am to 12:30pm
Nauna's Bella Casa
148 Valley Road
Montclair, NJ 07042

Nauna's was my high school hangout! Would a regular 1er driver be welcome to stop by and admire the E's/snap some pictures? I'd understand if you wanted to really keep it strictly ActiveEs, so I can pretend I'm going to quick check and stay out of the way if you want haha

Yes, of course! That's why I posted here. I'm sure some of you are curious about the electric 1er's. I'm sure you'll recognize me if you used to come to Nauna's, I've owned it for the past 25 years! Hope to see you there.

Me too, its a lot easier for me to show up during the summer when im not working and my father doesnt like to go to these kinds of things alone.

Im at 35. The car was sitting for 2 weeks again, a control module blew out and there werent any available in the world. So they had to make one...

I just wanted to come in and say that we (wife and I) love Nauna's!
We've eaten here for over 10 years, since my wife still lived in Montclair with her parents and we still visit occasionally because Nauna's is still our go-to spot for informal Italian (I prefer you guys over the Bloomfield Ave selections). I've noticed the charging station and Active E parked outside recently but did not make the connection till I saw this thread.

Hoping to visit in my gas-powered 135i and say hello.

Sucks. Thats the crazy thing with these. They obviously made extra parts but they must have used more than they thought they would because when they run out of something, they literally have to make the part!!! That obviously won't be the case for the production electrics they make for the i brand.

Just bumping this up to remind everyone the meet is this Sunday in Montclair, NJ (details above) We're expecting over 20 ActiveE's and some other electric cars are joining also including a brand new Tesla Model S. Stop by if you are in the area!

I saw your car, but didn't get to talk to you sorry. I was trying to talk to everyone there. It was a nice afternoon. We had 15 ActiveE's come, plus two Tesla's(one roadster and one Model S), a Honda Fit EV, a Mitsubushi iMiEV and an electric Zero motorcycle.
