SCOTT - When will US dealers be able to officially enter orders into the system? Also, I'm sure you'll have to speculate at this point, but will "early adopters" get hosed on options such as color or trim? I'd like to be the first kid on the block (so to speak) but not at the expense of not being able to get Inca Orange or Frozen Grey, should they become options. I've been screwed before (by Audi) and it felt terrible, especially since I paid a premium over those that purchased a couple months later.

For me, it's not about being the first, I just really want this car (NOW) and I'm over my 135i. Just can't wait to take delivery!

I think that's either his age (at the time of joining each respective forum), or a numerical identifier for tracking purposes for each.

^There are two of them, scott 26 and scott 27--the way they write is different too. Also, they are just names used by people in bmw's marketing dept.

I actually thought it was the same person.

I am positive that there are at least two of them, the junior scott is referred to as G, if an not mistaken. There's also a post on german car forum where the senior scott wrote that he forgot to tell the junoir one that the 1m was not gonna be at some car show, can't remember the exact show off hand.

Last time I went, it was the 6 series debut, it was good fun!

I visited my friends briefly in Frankfurt when I did ED on my 135i, but it'd be nice to spend a little more time with them, I only had a few days.

I ordered my 135i for ED the same day orders opened up for US customers, so I see no reason to believe it'd be different for military sales.
