I am completely surprised that some US media outlets are referring this as a 135M and still mention iS as a title.

We had a strict private BMW US preview the other week. Before the tragedy of Mr Pitney and before the car was taken to Wisconsin.

Anyway You will love it... Jack did. R.I.P.
will the car be fully revealed later today?

Well that's the bloody point, isn't it? Sell more road cars by making them more desirable through their MPower versions.

The 1 series had it's LCI back for the 2008 MY. The coupe and vert were part of the LCI as the 1 series was originally released in 2004

I'm having a tough time visualizing that rear bumber. Seems to be lots of angles above the exhaust.

Looks like it going to be sweet! I only wish it had a naturally aspirated I6 engine with around 350bhp. But if turbo's are the only way forward....

Oh wow, I thought it would be cool but even this much of the tease has put the biggest smile on my face. I have been tossing around the idea of buying the e92 M3 for a while now and seeing this has made me so happy that I didnt pull the e92 trigger.

If this car comes with the s55 engine and the rest of it looks as good as the teaser. I will be ordering one as soon as they come available. Hmmm... my first brand new car to be a M car.... Cant wait!

daddy like.

the angel eyes look different from the standard 1-er, am I correct? that is, it looks like it illuminates from the bottom, so I assume that it's the new LED that we're seeing on the updated E92's...

I just hope the pricing on these is not too insane...i cant see myself paying 60k for a 1 series. Hopefully this is somewhere between 49k and mid 50's.

I am liking all that performance characteristics this car will have. However, the Bangle-styling is still tough for me to swallow, but I'm sure this car will be incredibly awesome to drive.

Something else missing on the E9X M3 are the raised edges around the intake ducts like the one in the picture above. Even the M-Sport bumpers for the E90 has this feature -- it's a very subtle way of adding an aggressive flair to the car. The RS5 and F430 Scuderia have similar characteristics on their front bumpers as well.

It's a very nice touch.
