Nothing. Carbon build up is not a 'defect' or caused by anything BMW did wrong. It is an inherent side effect of all DI engines - at least the way they are currently designed.
I would classify carbon build up as a maintenance thing. |

I imagine the people that have stuff done to their car are screwed with this "warranty".

I love how you American's kick BMW's ass. Seriously. In the UK we get bent over and shafted hard with sand used as a lubricant, BMW UK deny knowledge of anything.
