Kerscher Who? LTBMW 1M Front End!
I was originally after the Kerscher 1M front end for my car to give it that more aggressive look. But after seeing how expensive the bumper is when the euro's are converted to USD, import fee's, and shipping, I know that I had to find another way. I approached LTBMW with the project and they were on board. This is the first prototype bumper for our cars, it will be used to make a mold to mass produce the bumpers. Fitment is 100% as you can see in the pictures. There are no issues with the prototype so that means there won't be any problems at all with the ones that come from the mold.

You just tell LTBMW if you have headlight washers or not! Last edited by cooler2442; 07-08-2012 at 10:05 AM.. |

I dunno - looks a little busy for the car IMO without the rest of the body kit to match. But cool that you got them to make it. I'm sure this will be pretty popular.

They didn't know if I had them or not so they didn't make holes. This is the bumper that will be used as prototype for the mold so they will make it without holes and then make the holes for those that have headlight washers.

Nice! But i feel like the car is trying to be something it is not. It would of been more interesting if LTBMW came up with their own design to a new front bumper instead of copying the 1m.

I personally don't think this is trying to be anything. I wanted a more aggressive bumper and this is it.

There will be a group buy soon to come! LTBMW just has to make sure everything is good to go and they will start producing them. I will make a group buy then.

Just called LTBMW, the guy didn't know too much about the project, but hes going to call me back with more details and pricing. I'll update when I find out

Okay, that sounds worth waiting for then haha. I'm so impatient sometimes. |

Yup. You can order one now and they will custom make you one if you don't want to wait but it won't be as good as the group buy pricing.

Well I just got a call back from LTBMW, pricing is tentatively set at $1200, shipped, WITHOUT paint. Kescher is about $1200-1400 with shipping, WITH paint (BSM).
He said to call back in a week or so when he has a firmed up price because the owner isn't in town until later, but I sincerely hope that price goes down abit. Maybe the group buy will help out, but it would have to be a heck of a group buy. |

I made sure to let him know that I didn't want one custom-made immediately, just wanted a price for when they were ready to be in stock. He also said it would be a couple weeks before they were in stock, so it sounds like thats a production price. I hope I'm wrong and he is wrong too!
