Ooooh! I want this wheel (because it's really pretty) or the one with the electronic display (simply for the novelty). Very nice!

I have a question: do the stock 135i DCT paddles work? Will I need E9X/F8X paddles?

Personally, I bought the NRW 3D printed kit to run the other paddles, they're too big, and kinda too ricey(?) for me.

Yes, the stock e82 paddles will work, but I didn't want to reuse them as they were beginning to show they're age with the paint cracking. I also wanted new paddles because I got the steering wheel brand new as well so I wanted it to match. I also love the modern feel that the f8x paddles bring to the e82.

Exactly why I opted to retrofit the f8x paddles. I agree that the nrw kit is too ricey for my liking.

The f8x paddle swap isn't really that hard. It took a friend and myself about around an hour to do the entire steering wheel/paddle swap. Given we both have some basic mechanical knowledge, and did the research necessary prior to getting into it, it was fairly easy.
