Give us a choice, this will not be like the M5 manual debacle...I take it like this, if this steps on the M3 toes, use it as a gauge to see how far to push the next M3. I mean the Mustang 5.0 and Boss 302 already are doing that...so BMw needs a gauge. It has already been said that the M3 has gotten too big, too GT like. If they want the M3 to be a 911 Carrera competitor, then they are gonna have to have 911 weight...and the 1M can be the Cayman fighter.

This is what happens when you have a smaller, lighter car with a better power to weight ratio.

That could be the auxiliary cooler for the cooling system and not the oil cooler itself.

We all know the turbo charged N54 engine needs more cooling system capacity and efficiency, not a bigger or a second oil cooler, unless it's a dedicated track car.

BMW engineers obviously got outvoted by the marketing guys, because 6/4=1.5...

Otherwise a damn good looking car. Would I be nutty if I had a 135 and an M1?

As far as I can see from those pictures, there are zipper lines over

1) front quarter panel (hiding a unique signal M front quarter panel air duct)
2) a wedge shaped zipped line over the rear quarter bumper (similar to the front) which will show off the rear bumper design and fender.

So it looks like we are due for 2 more stripteases before the official reveal in December... So one part in October (the side air-let?) and then in November the rear bumper?

I'm in the same boat. I walked up to my Dad (who loves my 135) and was like so do you want to finish off the payments on this car come next august and keep the car so that I can get this better car and not feel bad about myself?

Since these wheels are the same as an M3s, any 18" that fits an M3 will fit.
