How many came from an E90/92?
Just wanted to know how many came from an E9x and what did you not like about your 135 or what you liked better. My lease is up in aug and i really cant decide between an e90 335 or the 135 coupe! any feedback would be much appreciated!

Man, I am in the same boat as you...my lease is up in September and I am deciding on what to do next. Right now, it is looking like a 135i, which I hope to order mid-July for mid-September PCD. Let me know if you have any questions, as I have test driven the 135i (both 6-spd and DCT)

135= car for 1 person. seriously, if you opt for nav youll have one cupholder in the whole car that isn't even really useable- if you get an e90, youll have 4. If you want to put anyone in the back over 5'10, you're shit out of luck unless its a very short trip. if this was between ab E92 and a 135, I'd say the E92 would take turns better, but since you're looking at a sedan I'd say that the corners are faster in a 135 by far and the breaking is much better.

I went from an '04 330 to an '08 135 several years ago. I love having three center cupholders as opposed to two in-dash cupholders (like the '05 and newer models). I love the drive and feel of the 135 and I would recommend that over the 128. I do miss not having four doors but I have two small children and I haven't had any problems with getting my kids in the car. Most of my driving is for work so I have really enjoyed it.

Went from 2007 335i 6MT coupe to 2011 135i DCT. The DCT just seems faster and instantly responsive. The front cabin actually seems roomier, though I don't plan to sit in the back. Some understeer at high speeds in the 135i compared to the 335i, otherwise handling seems comparable. I could give a crap about cupholders.

I have an 08 335i sedan and picked up the 135i later. The 135i is definitely more fun to drive, but the 3 series feels more plush. The 1 series interior "feels" a bit cheap in comparison. If that's not something you care about, then 135i all the way. The only 3 series I'd recommend over the 135i is the M3. <3

Still rolling in my 2007 e90 335 until my e82 135 arrives at the end of this month. It was a tough call. I'm not crazy with the LCI changes, etc of the latest e90s, and I wanted something different.

To me. it was no contest. Just do not care for the 3 series look inside or out.
I did drive a friend's 335i coupe and found the car's feel to be dramatically heavier than the 135 ( even though the true weight difference is small). Driving unknown roads I found myself braking earlier than I would with my 135 due to the feeling of the extra weigh of the 335. Perhaps if I had more seat time w/ the 335 , I would not have felt that way. I love the 135 in every respect. I like the simple, serious look of the 135 interior. Cheap feel...NO but the 355 is more plush. Exclusive of the Z4, its the only BMW currently in the line that I care for (though the new 5 looks nice but too pricey for the wife's run about). It really comes down to what your want from a car. Cup holders--never high on my list of what matters in a car. |

Yeah, if you're concerned about style and cuholders, stick with the 3, but if your want to run like a rabid dog, go with the 135i.

I have a e92 335i and share a 128i with the gf. I must say the 128 is a blast to drive even with less power so the 135 must be even funner! Someone mentioned the sound on the 135 is better and I must say I think the same is true for the 128 sounds way better than my 335 (unless you golf tee mod it).
I also prefer the clean slick look of the 1 series interior over the 3, but the 3 is plusher and nicer for long trips etc. However when it comes to the exterior I think the e92 is much slicker looking but that's subjective so it's really whatever you prefer. |

The 335i and the 135i are different cars for different market segments. I liked my former 2007 335i but love my 135i. Only you can choose what is right for you.

Skipped e9x and went straight to 135. You can do a lot with $15k, like turning it into a true M1 and not this 1M bullshit.
WTF does cupholders have to do with this. There shouldn't be any cupholders in the first place. This is Unfortunatley, the girlfirend said the 335er is better looking. But her 19er daughter likes the 135er. Interseting. Time for a new girlfriend, I think. |

With M mechanical seats, I noticed the comfort is better then my 95 525. I can go much longer. There is something different compared to e36 sport seats as well. I love the seats. |

e92 - (328i)
-better standard radio. -can comfortably fit 4 people in the car e82: (135i) -n54 -smaller, more nimble (although the space in the front is almost the same as the 328i) -back seats are pretty useless unless you want to move the front seats to an uncomfortable position -cheap sun visors compared to the e92 I am thrilled that I made the switch.. but probably because of the N54. The car is plenty big for me, but I use my car for leisurely pursuits. Aside from the visors, I honestly do not notice any difference in quality between the 1er and 3er. I actually prefer the feel of the boston leather in the 1er to the dakota leather. I am lucky to say not a single rattle or squeak in my e92 after about 28k miles and after 4k miles or so, the same holds true for the 135i. I am shocked at the amount of fun I have when driving this car. I find myself going on alot more rides and smiling the entire time.

Came from e92 335 to n55 135.
Power is similar, but the JB+ i had in the e92 made it feel a bit stronger. dislike in 135, center armrest: flappy cheap feeling. ugly open ashtray/storage, don't smoke in the car, but would like a cover no rear storage net behind seats. like everything else especially the more toss-able feeling. rear seating wasn't that bad for short drives.
