It seems like Red Ranger is now out of stock of the Nolathane bushes throughout Australia with no ETA. I'm now considering the supposedly identical Whiteline KDT917 kit. Has anybody else fitted this kit?

This is where you can get the whiteline ones.

The handling improvements after install was actually more than I anticipated.. The turn in roll has been greatly improved, as I'm running a m3 strut and sway up front, with the only rear suspension mods being coilovers, Megan camber arms and ECS trailing arms, this does make sense. I'm curious to see how it feels on 1st gear launch, or any situation which involves wheel spin, which I haven't tested yet. |

Yeah I think most people were doing M3 bushes which is a colossal pain to fit. I saw a diy for 2 piece powerflex on e90post and it motivated me to do the DIY myself. Dropping the subframe isnt too hard, only half hour on jackstands for me.

Quick question - does swapping subframe bushes mess with your alignment? I.e should you get an alignment post fitting.

The alignment relative to the rear left and rear right wheels will not change. This is because all the rear suspension arms are mounted to the subframe and not the body.
But the rear alignment in relation to the front may change, especially since the stock bushings are so soft, and you are replacing it with something that is more rigid, centering it more accurately on the subframe points. This shouldnt affect anything to the tyre wear (like toe or camber), maybe just the thrust angle If you drop the front subframe, this is different as you can change the relative camber of the front wheels if it was shifted from side to side. Any change that affects camber will also affect toe, requring an alignment. From the cars I have done the nolathane upgrade, they tracked straight afterwards but I recommend an alignment down the track when it is most convenient.

Did you manage to get a set? From what I've heard from members trying to source them, Nolathane and Whiteline are all out of stock of these bushings in Australia Can get them from the USA here, but around $100 more than the Nolathane or Whiteline ones locally: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Whiteline...EAAOSw34FVBl8D I think probably these bushings sat on the shelf for ages cos no one bought them, this review came out and now all the stock is gone.

No still waiting for a set. Heard from Whiteline last week that they were 2-3 weeks away from an ETA. I don't mind waiting to save a few dollars. Will keep this thread updated when they're back in stock.

Quick update - 999 Automotive Sydney have clearance stock of the older style Whiteline yellow bush kit going for $145. I'm waiting for the new black bush version but thought I'd let other interested members know.

Was the black version a stiffer material vs yellow? The Nolathane is 85A
