Because active steering is optional and somebody was talking that u can't have it on 1M

Active steering is when you drive slow you don't have to turn your steering 2x to turn wheels fully it's just 1x and going any faster it's getting less sensitive, actualy I think cool option. And active steering you can see from steering fluid reservoir it's a bit different design from standart.

As I understand, active steering is not on any M car.

Typically M cars have a different steering rack altogether from the underlying models and of course the different rack in the M car is a lot quicker ratio.

That is what I heard somewhere but if you would look to reservoir it looks just like active steering which I have on my 135i so it is interesting...
