Carbon Shift Paddles
Hmmmm, anyone got a gut feel as to whether or not these paddles for an M3 might fit on our 135i Automatic?
It uses a pin/bolt to fasten them in place. When looking at our automatic thumb shifters, they seem to use a similar pin system. |

I doubt it...those are pull type levers only.

if you could somehow get into the steering wheel assembly and rig it so that the left pull would shift down, it might work... don't know if that's possible at all though.

Pull/Push? The mechanism that controls the shifting is not in the paddles, so the design of the paddles would not dictate the shift up/down. Yeah yeah, there is a "+" and and "-" sign on the carbon paddles, but that's easily ignored/covered up.

Design is much different than that of the e82, it wouldn't fit.
