Am I crazy?

Am I crazy or would these actually look great on a Montego Blue 1-series?

They're 17x8 so that basically limits them to a square setup with 225s at the most because of the crazy 20ET offset. I don't even think they would work. I'm running 45ET wheels now and they are basically flush with the fenders. I can't imagine another 20+ mm sticking out.

I think the design is great (classic) but yeah, about those offsets. No would not look good (not to me, but that's IMO). I don't think it'd be worth the narrower tires and rubbing chances either.

Love style 5s, but that offset makes it a no-go

google "bbs rf e82" and you will see a variant of the wheel you're inquiring about, all of the photobucket pics won't load though

I'd stick to period correct wheels.

Here's shots of style 5's on my 128i with BC racing coilovers...they don't poke out too far, but tires have a slight stretch.

Love the wheels but not the fitment. Looks ... Hate to say it ... Mexiflush.

Maybe a little more camber and 1/2" drop?
